Selma Blair Beitner (born June 23, 1972) is an American actress.

She was born in Michigan and studied at Kalamazoo College from 1990-1992, the Stella Adler Acting School, and also attended Hebrew School as a child. Her Hebrew name is Batsheva. She is a graduate of Cranbrook Kingswood school near Detroit, Michigan. She is married to Ahmet Zappa.
